-Atypical ragtag bunch of misfits go to theatre camp. Relationship dramatic hilarity ensues. Or whatever.-The storytelling isn't that good, the acting questionable (though the singing is pretty great), the writing rather mediocre, and at times it reaches absurd levels of corny. So why the fuck did I love it so much? It could be the hey-let's-all-dance-around-in-drag-to-support-that-one-guy-who-got-beat-up-for-it-at-his-junior-prom attitude the film exudes, it could be the honestly touching moments speckled througout. If you knew the context of this, it would rock even harder, but for now, just enjoy the awesomesause that is Anna Kendrick, may she claw her way out of the sinkhole that is Twilight (which she has already, but shut up).
