September 6, 2010. Watched DVD: All About Steve (Phil Traill, 2009). I don't know what all the fuss was about: it's not that bad! Sandra Bullock got the worst actress Razzie award for this, yet she's not bad, it's the part, not her acting. Let's say the whole enterprise is awkward. The problem for most viewers I think is that they didn't know if they were supposed to just find Mary Horowitz ludicrous and pathetic or feel sympathy for her and actually like her. Most Hollywood movies take you by the hand when it comes to that sort of thing -- not All About Steve. Plus, it's got gorgeous Bradley Cooper!
